LMS has begun a new phase in the way we provide pastoral care to the community. Based on our past, LMS has found using the services of Pastors and trained lay ministers that have a calling to serve the community as an effective way to reach further into the community of people that need of our programs and services.
Many pastors and trained lay ministers still feel a desire to serve, even as they find their role as a congregational leader coming to an end. LMS invites those that have served as spiritual leaders to continue their ministry by helping the community of people that need the presence of capable Christians more than ever. With so much compassion, love and understanding still to share, LMS welcomes you.
The Emeritus Ministry Program encourages those with a calling to serve to join LMS as spiritual care provider to Northwest area hospitals, nursing homes, care centers, jails, prisons, veteran facilities, and now to workplaces and non-profit groups.
LMS is creating team ministry programs that will allow those that serve the opportunity to share God’s loving grace to those in need of pastoral and spiritual care. As a team member your time is valuable, and there will be moments when there is a need for a team to be flexible in visitation commitments. The team approach provides this flexibility and allows for the fluctuations in all of our lives.
LMS is currently seeking pastors and trained lay ministers to be a part of the LMS ministry team. Why retire when there is still so much ministry to be shared?
